| Morning service, complete with 'the balloon of revival' |
Yesterday we were incredibly blessed to celebrate our year anniversary as a church. It is amazing to see what God has done in such a short space of time.
We started off the day with a sermon encouraging us to be willing to pay the price for destiny, rather than pay the cost of missing it. An interesting thing happened while I was giving the announcements - an unnoticed party balloon floated down from the rafters with perfect timing and hovered exactly over one of the front row seats. It almost felt like God was approving our celebration!

We then headed to our house for a barbecue fellowship, with most of those who attended the service following us straight there. There was meat, fun and fellowship a plenty, as we hit the barbecue itself with some marinaded chicken wings and the dart board with our best shots!
Everyone testified to having a great time, and it was so good to see sister Susan and Grace there with us,

who have stayed faithful since the very first service. That evening we returned to church to watch a video sermon by Greg Mitchell from last year's Prescott conference. It was a powerful message about taking dominion by the breath of the Holy Spirit when it seems like there are just dead bones in our cities.
All in all, it was a fantastic day, and we look forward to what God is going to do as we enter into our second year as a church.
